About the wine
A Whyte & Mackay 21 year old blend imported to France in the 1990s. James Whyte and Charles Mackay launched their business in 1882. Their blend was originally designed for export, before their focus returned to the domestic market after WWII. The merger with the Mackenzie Borthers in 1960 brought the company its first distillery, Dalmore, which was then followed by Tamnavulin, Fettercairn and Invergordon, all of which are used in its blends, created by Richard Paterson.
