About the wine
Cherry Heering is a Danish cherry liqueur produced from a recipe created by Peter Heering in 1818. It uses a rare variety of wild cherry, the Stevens cherry. The liqueur is aged in barrel for at least three years and is famously part of the Singapore Sling cocktail invented circa 1915 at the Long Bar of the Raffles Hotel in Singapore.
