Information
Founded in 1891, the Jean-Baptiste Béjot trading company was later taken over by Roger Sauvestre in 1954. The firm showcased the full range of Burgundy’s wine-growing region through a series of exceptional vintages. In 1988, his son Vincent took over and significantly grew the business by also offering wines from the Rhône Valley. Each partner vineyard is carefully selected based on very specific criteria. Vincent prides himself on harvesting grapes from healthy, balanced and sustainable agriculture. He is convinced that the balance between man and the land is essential to develop quality raw materials and thus to produce great wines. In the winery, vinification involves minimal intervention and sulphur is used in minute quantities. The trading company offers fragrant and authentic vintages that perfectly reflect the flavours of some of the region’s finest appellations.
