Information
The Premier Cru Les Malconsorts flourishes in the heart of Burgundy’s finest vineyard, on soils mostly consisting of limestone, ideally facing south and east. The Pinot Noir vines, averaging some forty years, are exclusively harvested by hand in small crates. Once the harvest has been meticulously sorted, the fruit is vinified in the purest Burgundy tradition. The long ageing process conducted in oak casks enables the cuvée to develop and structure its aromatic spectrum before the bottling stage.
The ruddy-red colour reveals a delicate and complex bouquet characterised by delicate woody notes combined with stone fruit and subtle hints of spice. The indulgent palate expresses all the crunchiness of the Pinot Noir, wrapped in a superb tannic substance, culminating in a deliciously long finish. Unsurprisingly, this 100% Pinot Noir can be cellared for several years.
