Fanny Sabre is driven by a single ideal: to produce clean, unadulterated wines. This red Burgundy is the very expression of this drive, vinified in accordance with organic and natural practices. A rare wine, since the estate covers just 4 hectares, paying each cuvée rigorous attention. Meticulous work respecting the soils, controlled yields and green harvesting are just some of the precautions taken to deliver the clearest possible expression of the terroir, with no fuss or frills.
A mammoth task in the vineyards resulting in a characterful wine that takes on dark carmine tints with age. The aromas express themselves spontaneously through notes of red fruit and dark flowers such as violets. Allow this wine to mature for a few years and it will come into its own with a bouquet of liquorice and leather with hints of undergrowth. This wine will reveal all the wealth of its natural aromatic profile when served with characterful meats.
