Information
The first traces of the Fabrègue family date back to 1263, when they were reputed to be wealthy silk merchants near Lyon. In 1784, Jean de La Fabrègue commissioned the construction of the building we know today in Rivesaltes, which was later named Rombeau. From 1850 onwards, the first winemakers combined traditional expertise with modern technology to develop their wines with a constant focus on quality. Through generations of passionate winemakers, the estate has grown to 113 hectares of vines, producing Muscats de Rivesaltes, Rivesaltes, Côtes du Roussillon and Vins de Pays wines that combine finesse and strength. With their unique sense of hospitality, the family launched their own restaurant at the same time, under the impetus of Pierre-Henri de Fabrègue. The inn soon became a window to showcase the estate’s wines, offering a genuine tourist guide to the characteristics of the region and its grape varieties.
