Information
The Chardonnay vines stretch along the picturesque landscape of Montigny-lès-Arsures, a small commune near Pupillin. When he started out in the 1980s, Michel Gahier was faced with hostility from fellow winemakers and consumers when it came to natural wines. The winemaker never gave up despite the circumstances. Passion and determination paid off as Michel has succeeded in creating natural wines which are authentic and flavoursome, building his great reputation. In the winery, the grapes are vinified according to traditional methods without inputs and only minute doses of sulphur.
The pale colour reveals a bouquet of rare intensity, characterised by fragrances of lime combined with a touch of walnut. The dense, generous palate reveals a beautiful acidity with remarkable finesse, leading to an incredibly delicious and persistent finish. A superb Chardonnay with excellent body and great freshness that will keep for several years.
