Information
The estate is home to several superb parcels located in Cramant, in the famous Côte des Blancs region. The old Chardonnay vines, averaging 50 years stretch over 97% of the terroir, thriving on soils mostly consisting of limestone. The predominantly east-facing slopes, situated some 15 km south of Epernay, provide the vines, planted between 100 m and 200 m, with all the nutrients they require to thrive. The grapes are harvested at peak ripeness, pressed and aged in stainless steel vats before maturing on fine lees for eight months. This process, influenced by Burgundy winemaking traditions, imparts finesse and aromatic wealth to the cuvée.
The golden colour and shimmering reflections reveal extremely delicate bubbles. The refined bouquet reveals subtle aromas of lemon and chalk. On the palate, this elegant Champagne reveals aromas of citrus fruit complemented by a vibrant attack, culminating in a lively, fresh and persistent finish.
