Information
Charles Corbon arrived in Avize to work for a Champagne house shortly after the First World War. He acquired his first vines in the 1920s and set about selling the fruits of his harvests. Over the years, his son Albert began to take a keen interest in viticulture. In the 1960s, Albert and his son Claude took over from their grandfather and continued to sell the grapes after the harvest. In 1970, grape prices plummeted as a result of the economic crisis, and sales became impossible. This led Claude to decide to produce his own Champagne. His new-found passion changed his life, and he unveiled his first vintages in 1981. In 2006, Claude is joined by his daughter, who continues to apply the same principles as her father, especially not filtering or fining the wines. With almost two hectares of vines, the domain soon established itself as one of the most symbolic in the Marne Valley.
