Information
Trocken Riesling is a dry white wine from the Rheingau region of Germany. The Schlehdorn vineyard is planted on chalk and limestone soils, imparting a distinct minerality to the wine. The grapes are hand-picked at peak ripeness to ensure a rigorous selection process. Traditional winemaking methods are applied, with spontaneous fermentation triggered by native yeasts, to preserve the authentic expression of the terroir. The wine is matured in stainless steel vats to retain the purity of the aromas, without the influence of wood.
This Riesling is characterised by intense aromas of yellow fruit, citrus, herbaceous and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is powerful and fresh, with a marked minerality and lively acidity, culminating in a long finish. Perfect with seafood such as shellfish, crab and lobster, this wine also perfectly complements Asian dishes such as octopus sashimi and chicken gyozas.
