Riesling
Riesling can produce some very high-quality white wines and is widely cultivated in the Rhine Valley and the Mosel Valley. They are characterised by their floral and mineral aromas. In certain years when the climate is right Riesling can make Vendange Tardive wine that has notes of banana, honey and candied orange. Riesling makes wine that can have exceptional ageing potential.
