Information
The Ladoix appellation shares the privilege of producing the legendary wines of the Corton hillside with Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses. The Chardonnay vines planted on white marl and limestone soils capture all the subtleties of this renowned terroir with finesse. The grapes are hand-picked to protect the soil and the fruit, before being meticulously sorted and destalked. After being lightly pressed for four hours, the fruit is fermented in oak casks at a temperature of 20 degrees. The cuvée is then carefully aged for 6 to 8 months in oak casks, with 10% new wood, before being bottled.
The bright, golden colour promises a very fragrant bouquet. The nose is indeed characterised by delightful floral aromas like acacia. Bright and luscious on the palate, this wine is extremely lively, and culminates in a long, fresh finish.
