Information
These Chardonnay vines are emblematic of this terroir, and they capture with finesse the essence of each plot. This Chardonnay variety is a direct descendant of a mix between Pinot Noir and the old white variety Gouais, and it is perfectly adapted to Burgundy. The estate uses gentle, natural cultivation techniques by adhering to organic methods. To effectively protect the vines from disease, only natural products like copper, sulphur, and certain plant-based mixtures are used. At the winery, the grapes are harvested, sorted, pressed, and vinified naturally, with as little intervention as possible. The fermentation process uses the native yeast present on the grape skin. Finally, the wine is bottled without fining, and after slight filtration.
The bright golden-coloured wine opens with a nose of white fruit. The velvety mouthfeel unveils fruit-forward notes for a lively, elegant, and persistent finish.
