    About the producer

Jérôme Arnoux is a passionate and ambitious winemaker from Jura. After years of working at the heart of the region’s vineyards, notably at Domaine André et Mireille Tissot, he started producing his own wines in 2015 from Jura’s iconic grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. His 17 hectares of vines grow on clay-limestone soils and are cultivated without pesticides or insecticides. The only treatments used are organic soil amendments. Every task in the vineyard is carried out with meticulous care, with the aim of fostering microbial life in the soils. In the winery, the winemaker adopts a low-intervention approach. Fermentations are carried out by the native yeasts naturally present on the grapes, and the use of sulphur is kept to a minimum. For Jérôme, the aim is to craft high-quality wines that reflect his passion, the integrity of his raw materials, and the character of his Jura terroir.

    About the wine

Located in the heart of the Jura, the vineyard enjoys an exceptional climate. Jérôme Arnoux, a passionate winegrower, combines age-old traditions with avant-garde techniques. The vines, sculpted by a unique climate, produce a wine of rare complexity. Manual harvests and precise vinification bear witness to a constant quest for excellence. The cuvées follow a fermentation path exclusively traced by native yeasts. Unfined, lightly filtered and vinified with barely any sulphur, they embody a genuine commitment to authenticity and the preservation of natural characteristics.
Crafted from 100% Trousseau grapes, this wine originates from a Bajocian limestone terroir, enjoying a westerly exposure that furthers its unique characteristics The gently sloping hills contribute a subtle nuance to each grape, imparting a distinctive personality to the wine.
Arbois Exception seduces with intense aromas of black cherry, violet and liquorice. On the palate, silky tannins combine with an explosion of complex flavours. A balanced symphony of flavours accentuated by spicy notes and a lingering finish.
Pair this Jura gem with a grilled rib of beef, to reveal the richness of its texture and the depth of its flavours. For the ultimate combination, enjoy it with a mature Morbier cheese, showcasing its full range of aromas.
