    Information
    About the producer

    About the wine

Fiona Leroy has been running Clos des Loyères, a Premier Cru in Les Maranges, since 2017, adopting a biodynamic approach that respects the terroir. With 2.7 hectares of south-east-facing vines, she favours responsible viticulture, predominantly hand-tending the vines and adopting gentle methods in the winery, seeking to express the identity of each plot as best possible. Her wine, matured in casks, is a splendid reflection of the terroir, offering aromatic depth and a promising body supported by tannins that will refine with time.
This Côte de Beaune Le Clos des Loyères is a 100% Pinot Noir red, produced from hand-picked grapes, destemmed and vinified in stainless steel vats, matured in oak casks for 12 months.
On tasting, the wine is supple, light and full of concentration. Notes of violet, rose, strawberry and a darker touch of blackcurrant emerge on the nose and palate.
