Information
Exclusively crafted from Pinot Noir grapes, this cuvée originates from the prestigious Savigny-lès-Beaune terroir, where soils of clay, limestone and pebbles provide the vines with all the nutrients they require to thrive. In the winery, the whole bunches of grapes undergo a long maceration process to release all the fruit’s aromas. Fermentations are triggered by indigenous yeasts naturally present in the berries. The winemaking process is completed with several months’ ageing in used oak casks before the wine is carefully bottled.
The deep ruby-red colour unveils an intense nose of ripe red fruit, such as raspberry and Morello cherry, mingling with subtle hints of spice. The elegant, silky palate reveals beautiful roundness and amplitude, leading to a deliciously persistent finish.
