Information
Renowned as one of Piedmont’s most emblematic red grape varieties, Nebbiolo is also one of Italy’s oldest. The meticulously harvested grapes undergo traditional, low-intervention vinification in the winery. Maceration lasts a month and fermentation is triggered by natural yeasts present on the berries. The cuvée is then matured in oak casks for four to five years. Lastly, the wine is carefully bottled and cellared for a further year before it can be enjoyed.
The deep shiny and glossy red colour reveals a harmonious bouquet characterised by expressive aromas of red fruit and sweet spices. On the palate, powerful tannins balance perfectly with lightly floral aromas, leading to an elegant, complex finish.
