    About the wine

While Burgundy is renowned worldwide for its red and white wines, the region also has a more discreet yet long-standing tradition of producing rosé. Historically known as ‘œil-de-perdrix’ for their pale, luminous colour, these rosé wines were mainly made from Pinot Noir, sometimes with a touch of Gamay. Some cuvées, often produced from younger vines or less prestigious parcels, do not claim the Bourgogne Rosé appellation and are labelled as Vin de France. The vines for this cuvée thrive on a classic Burgundian terroir with well-drained clay-limestone soils, sometimes mixed with marl or pebbles.
The wine shows a pale pink hue with salmon glints. The nose is delicate and precise, offering aromas of wild strawberry, redcurrant, orange zest and white flowers, lifted by a subtle hint of fruit drops. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a tangy attack, a juicy core of crunchy red berries and a lightly saline finish that adds tension and invites another sip.
