Information
Meet Antoine Bouvet, one of Champagne’s rising stars. This talented young winegrower has crafted an outstanding vintage Champagne. The 2010, 2012 and 2014 vintages are blends of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, while the 2018 vintage is made exclusively from Chardonnay. The vines are planted in Avenay-Val-d’Or and Bisseuil, two Premier Cru villages east of Épernay, on the banks of the Marne. Around 40 years old, they thrive in deep clay and chalk soils, benefiting from a south-westerly aspect and gentle slopes.
In the winery, Antoine Bouvet favours a natural approach to winemaking, with the wine spending 24 months in stainless steel vats It is then aged on laths for around 36 months before being bottled with no dosage. The result is a bewitching Champagne combining fruit, finesse and minerality. Perfect for a cocktail party or a special occasion.
