Information
This wine is made from Sauvignon Blanc vines planted in Chavignol, on a steep south-east-facing slope that enjoys abundant sunshine while cool nights preserve the grapes’ natural acidity and aromatic complexity. The soils are predominantly composed of Kimmeridgian marl, rich in limestone and clay, giving the wine its broad texture, distinctive mineral tension and remarkable ageing potential. Harvested by hand from exceptionally low-yielding vines, the grapes are vinified using traditional methods: spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in large seasoned wooden tuns, without stirring, followed by extended ageing on fine lees.
The pale golden hue is bright and luminous. The intense, complex nose combines ripe citrus fruit and white flowers with delicate honeyed notes. Elegant and saline on the palate, this wine is defined by remarkable precision and outstanding ageing potential.
