Information
The Jura appellation is one of the oldest in France and stands out for its diversity of grape varieties and wines, from yellow wines to straw wines, as well as fresh, mineral whites. The Jura terroir is characterised by clay-limestone soils. The vines are exposed to cool temperatures, contributing to the freshness and liveliness of the wines. This wine is made according to natural winemaking methods, with harvesting by hand to select perfectly ripe grapes. After spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel vats, the wine is aged for 24 months in used oak barrels. The wine is bottled without clarification, filtration or addition of SO2. The colour is a luminous lemon yellow verging on gold. The expressive nose reveals scents of white-fleshed fruit, white flowers and a touch of toasted almond. On the palate, the mouthfeel is fresh, lively and mineral, underpinned by fruity aromas and a slightly buttery texture.
