Information
The Velvet cuvée is born of a rigorous selection of crus from the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs. Harvesting is carried out by hand, with a careful single-vineyard selection to retain only the healthiest and most expressive grapes. During pressing, only the first juice is extracted and used, ensuring finesse and purity. The blend draws on three vintages, chosen for their complementarity and aromatic richness, lending the cuvée exceptional depth. A small proportion of the wine is aged in French oak casks, adding structure, unctuousness and delicate woody nuances. The wine then undergoes extended ageing on the lees in the cellar for a minimum of three years.
The vibrant brilliant golden hue is enlivened by a stream of fine bubbles. The nose, indulgent and complex, opens with aromas of fine patisserie and exotic fruit, followed by crystallised apricot, acacia honey, vanilla and elegant toasted and brioche notes. The palate is broad, suave and creamy, delivering a velvety texture perfectly balanced by a lively, mouth-watering acidity.
