Information
This Premier Cru Champagne is a remarkable expression of the unique terroir of Pierry. The soils here are predominantly clay-limestone and marl, typical of the Côte des Blancs, lending the wine both mineral freshness and fine aromatic complexity. Manual harvests ensure a rigorous selection of the grapes to guarantee optimal fruit quality. Vinification takes place in stainless-steel vats, with natural fermentation and ageing on fine lees to build structure and complexity. The second fermentation in bottle creates a fine, persistent mousse. Low dosage highlights the wine’s purity and freshness.
In the glass, the bright, pale yellow hue is animated by a delicate stream of bubbles. The nose opens with fresh citrus, white flowers and green apple, underpinned by a fine minerality. On the palate, the attack is lively, driven by vibrant acidity and an elegant texture, leading to a long, saline and fruit-laden finish.
