Information
Born from the prestigious Premier Cru Le Cailleret in Puligny-Montrachet, this Chardonnay embodies one of the most iconic Côte de Beaune appellations. Nestled on classic stony limestone soils, this higher-altitude terroir imparts remarkable mineral tension and crystalline elegance. The grapes grown at around 300 metres and harvested at perfect ripeness before being gently pressed. They then undergo natural fermentation in 456-litre casks, with only a small proportion of new oak to preserve fruit purity. The wine is subsequently aged on the lees for twelve months before bottling.
In the glass, the wine shows a pale, bright golden hue. The nose seduces with intense notes of candied lemon, white flowers and flintstone. On the palate, the texture combines breadth and precision, with a lively attack, a finely judged balance between richness and salinity, and a long, elegant finish.
