    Information
    About the wine

Not far from Chambertin and Chambertin-Clos-de-Bèze are the Chapelle-Chambertin crus. The wines here have the same characteristics: robustness, strength and amplitude with a distinguishing touch of liquorice. Chapelle-Chambertin covers just over five hectares and was named after the chapel built in 1155 by monks from Bèze Abbey, not far from Clos de Bèze, which was destroyed during the Revolution. Classified as a Grand Cru, the appellation only produces red wines. Small red and dark fruit aromas, notes of black cherry, bitter chocolate, liquorice and truffles: these are the characteristics of a wine to be drunk young or after 15 years.
