A very elegant Barolo created by a family who really wants to transmit the terroir’s identity through their wines.
More infoGiovanni Rosso's Ceretta is harvested by hand, then matured in French barrels, each with a capacity of 25 hectolitres. On the nose, aromas of violet, rose and cherry, with coffee notes, flesh out a beautiful aromatic bouquet. In the mouth, notes of red berries and silky tannins precede a long, particularly elegant finish.
About the Producer Giovanni Rosso
This domaine, which has been owned by the Rosso family since 1920, is located 3 kilometres north of Serralunga d’Alba. The domaine's motto is that "Wine should be a carbon copy of its terroir” and this is what dictates the cultivation, vinification and ageing approach practised by Giovanni Rosso's son Davide Rosso.
