    Cuvée presentation

This wine was produced in the heart of the 60 hectares Château Marjosse, owned by Pierre Lurton, who also is head of the world-famous Château d'Yquem and Cheval Blanc. On exceptional terroir that is quite similar to that of Saint-Emilion, is composed of asteriated limestone.
A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, this wine is fermented in temperature-controlled cement vats. Half of the harvest is aged in barrels, while the other half is aged in vats. This allows it to preserve and then reveal its characteristic aromas and freshness.
The colour is a superb purple red – dark, dense, and deep with good clarity. On tasting, the complex and generous nose reveals aromas of morello cherries and candied blackberries, elegantly combined with toasty and vanilla scents of fine wood. On the palate, the wine is generous, round, and plump, with a lot of volume that come from the ripe and velvety tannins. Fruity and oaky with a long finish.
Don’t forget that such a treat can be enjoyed young!
