Les Boutières from Domaine Petit Roy, vinified by Seiichi Wang, is a Burgundy wine of remarkable elegance, made entirely from Chardonnay. Its pale yellow hue with golden reflections heralds freshness.
On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of white fruits such as pear and apple, enhanced by floral notes of jasmine and lime blossom, with delicate hints of hazelnut and fresh butter. On the palate, the lively attack and a beautiful acidity pave the way to flavours of ripe fruit, lemon, and peach, complemented by subtle touches of vanilla and toasted bread. The creamy, velvety texture is balanced by a long, elegant finish, marked by a mineral persistence and a delicate almond note.
Best served between 10 and 12°C, it pairs wonderfully with fish in sauce, scallops, and cheeses like aged Comté. Ready to enjoy now, this white Burgundy can also be cellared for 2 to 4 years to develop further nuances.
