More info

Patrimonio Clos Marfisi is a single varietal 100% Vermentino from the Patrimonio appellation in Corsica. The pale yellow colour with green reflections is impressively clear and bright.
On the nose, it reveals an opulent range of aromas, dominated by notes of white fruit such as apple and pear, together with hints of citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit. Hints of white flowers and mineral accents add further depth. The attack is fresh and lively and the palate reveals a beautiful acidity. The white fruit aromas are complemented by floral nuances and a light hint of spice. Light to medium-bodied, this wine offers a silky roundness and a long finish marked by mineral notes and a slight salinity.
This wine is the perfect partner for seafood, grilled fish, fresh salads or light Mediterranean dishes. We recommend serving Patrimonio Clos Marfisi between 8 and 10 °C. It’s an excellent choice for savouring the freshness and complexity of the Corsican terroir, especially when dining al fresco or on sunny days.

About the Producer Clos Marfisi

Clos Marfisi has been part of the Patrimonio landscape since its first harvest in 1870. Five generations later, Julie Marfisi and her brother Mathieu grow around 15 hectares of organic vines covering three terroirs: Ravagnola (10 hectares of clay-chalk slopes by the sea), Gritole (2 hectares of clay, chalk and alluvium) and Grotta di Sole (2.5 hectares of clay, chalk and schist). The extractions are particularly gentle and maturation takes place in inert containers (steel, concrete, demi-muids) in order to conserve the fruit and its freshness. Both the reds and whites produced at this domain have a remarkable finesse.
