More info

The Les Chamoz climat, a parcel at 450 metres altitude in Pupillin, faces due south. Here, the soils are made up of grey Lias marls, occasionally streaked with limestone bands. These cool, deep soils, combined with the altitude, lend the wine firm structure, vivid freshness, and striking aromatic purity. Manual harvests involve a rigorous sorting in the vineyard to ensure only healthy, fully ripe fruit makes it to the winery. Fermentation occurs naturally with native yeasts. Ageing lasts 12 months in seasoned barrels, with no new oak, so as not to obscure the expression of fruit and terroir.
In the glass, the wine shines a vibrant ruby-red hue. The nose is pure and mineral, opening with fresh red berries and floral notes before evolving toward aromas of damp earth and undergrowth. On the palate, the attack is bright and lively, the texture fluid and precise, supported by fine yet present tannins.
