The wine
Domaine Raphet's Charmes-Chambertin is a red wine with a clear, brilliant, intense visual aspect, with a nose of ripe red berries and fine spices. In the mouth, the attack is full bodied; aromas fill the palate with grace and balance, before a long finish with a touch of licorice at the end. This wine is extremely easy to drink, retaining a beautiful freshness along with its strength. Must be tasted.
About the Producer Jean Raphet
Domaine Jean Raphet is without a doubt one of the best in Burgundy. Its bottles are extremely in demand, and therefore rare on the market. However, its Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche or even Clos de Beze are simply sublime, and not to be missed at any cost.
