The wine
Far from his native Rhone valley, Michel Chapoutier has produced this 100% Shiraz in an extremely rare terroir of red soils which date back to the Cambrian era. About the Producer Tournon
True to his pioneering spirit, Michel Chapoutier, a wine producer and negociant from the Rhône Valley, has set off in search of new terroirs, notably in Australia. He has settled on the Victoria Province in the Pyrenees appellation and joined forces with two major winemaking families, who share their expertise with him. Working with them, he has purchased two vineyards – Shays Flat and Landsborough – where he grows exceptional Shiraz grapes. Tournon is one of these domaines.
