More info

The Pinot Noir vines nestle in the heart of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits at an altitude of 300 to 500 metres. The clay-limestone soils, combined with a southerly and westerly exposure, provide each vine with all the nutrients required for their healthy development. The Pinot Noir grapes are meticulously hand-picked at peak ripeness and carefully transported to the winery to undergo a rigorous sorting process. The fruit is vinified following a traditional, low-intervention approach, allowing the terroir and grape variety to express all their delicious aromas and personality naturally.
The striking deep garnet-red colour is complemented by a delicate, bewitching bouquet of generous cherry and blackcurrant aromas combined with hints of spice. The ample, round palate reveals perfectly integrated tannins in a velvety texture, leading to a fruity, deliciously persistent finish.

About the Producer Hadrien Brissaud

Hadrien Brissaud is a young, dynamic winemaker and the proud owner of a thriving estate and wine trading business at the heart of the Côte d’Or. He is also an art insurance broker. His dream, which became a reality in 2021, was born out of a passion for wine and the Burgundy winegrowing landscape passed on by his grandfather. Hadrien is also a father and sees a genuine correlation between the worlds of art and wine. By extending his insurance services to wine enthusiasts, and providing coverage for wine cellars and fine bottles, both old and new, Hadrien has been in touch with people who are genuinely passionate about wine for several years. The young winemaker appreciates that more and more estates are incorporating art into their business. It’s only natural that Hadrien should devote himself to producing authentic, tasty cuvées that reflect both his passion for art and for the Burgundy terroir.
