Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire Château Grand Boise 2024

The wine

This Château Grand Boise rosé is a blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Cinsault grown in a high-altitude vineyard unlike any other in Provence. The vines thrive on clay-limestone and pink marble soils, mainly facing north, giving the wines freshness, balance and depth. The cultivation method is based on organic agriculture, respecting the wealth of this exceptional terroir. The grapes are hand-picked to ensure optimum raw material quality. The winemaking process includes direct pressing and low-temperature fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, preserving the purity of the aromas.
This cuvée provides a balanced tasting experience, with delicate notes of white peach, white flowers, white pepper and subtle aromas of red fruit and spices. Freshness, finesse and length on the palate combine to produce the perfect match for Mediterranean, exotic or lightly spiced cuisine.

About the Producer Château Grand Boise

Backed by four centuries of history – it can trace its beginnings back to 1610 – the property has only had three owners. Nestled in the Trets village, the estate covers a huge area with 500 hectares of forests and woods, of which 40 are reserved for vines that are divided into 92 parcels. The latter are located between 300 and 650 meters above sea level. Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Vermentino, Sémillon and Cabernet Sauvignon are grown there following organic and biodynamic methods.
After being harvested by hand, the grapes are gently vinified without any additives and using natural yeasts (which is rather rare for Provence’s rosés). The estate wishes to show off the unique characteristics of its terroirs and those of the AOC Côte de Provence Sainte-Victoire. Maturation is carried out in cement and stainless steel vats and oak barrels and large turns (but no new wood) depending on the wine. A magnificent property to discover immediately.
