It is no coincidence that the Nebbiolo is called "the emperor of Italian grape varieties": here it reveals its exceptional character especially after maturing for a few years.

The wine
This wine comes from a small but prestigious parcel in the Barolo appellation. It benefits from perfectly favourable conditions for its growth and slow, late ripening: good exposure, well-drained soils and plenty of sunshine. This wine has a pale red appearance, with – after a number of years' ageing – a few orange tints, notes of earth and leather, red and black berries and flowers.
About the Producer Ceretto
The Ceretto estate was established in the early 1980s (1982) and the vision was to vinify grapes from the best Barolo appellation vineyards. This vinification mission is still being pursued today with some of the most prestigious crus in the region, including Brunate de La Morra, Prapo de Serralunga d'Alba and Cannubi San Lorenzo de Barolo.
