La Madone is a Fleurie drawn from a single parcel, offering poised Gamay, pure fruit expression and fine-grained tannins.
More infoLa Madone stems from the legendary Fleurie terroir. The Gamay vines grow on weathered granite soils with pockets of sand and gneiss, a hallmark of the region. Granite brings saline energy, fresh acidity and aromatic finesse. At peak ripeness, the grapes are carefully hand-harvested and sorted. The fruit then macerates in whole clusters and ferments naturally with native yeasts. The wine is subsequently aged for six months before bottling without filtration.
The wine shows a light ruby hue, while the nose offers generous scents of raspberry, wild strawberry and violet, lifted by hints of sweet spice. On the palate, a lively attack reveals fine tannins and leads into a finish that is light, graceful and beautifully fruit-filled.
