Les Labourons is a stunning expression of Fleurie: a taut, floral slope-grown Gamay offering freshness and pure, vivid fruit.
More infoFleurie is one of the ten historic crus of Beaujolais, long celebrated for producing floral, elegant wines. The vineyard landscape has traditionally been divided into small plots, and with the rise of natural winemakers and young estates, micro-parcels such as Les Labourons have gained new prominence. This wine comes from a north-west-facing locality at 360 metres in altitude, planted on weathered granite soils. After manual harvests, the grapes are carefully sorted. A semi-carbonic maceration in tank allows for spontaneous fermentation, and the wine is then aged for around eight months before bottling without fining or filtration.
The light ruby hue promises an expressive bouquet. The nose shows wild strawberry, cherry, flower petals and a hint of spice. On the palate, a fresh attack opens onto fine tannins balanced by bright acidity, leading into a saline, floral finish.
