More info

Thibault Liger-Belair owns 0.31 hectares of this parcel, the rootstock in which was planted in 1965 on a pebbly soil rich in chalk and fine clay. The vineyard is located at the heart of Ladoix-Serrigny, just below Corton Vergennes.
Thibault crafts his wine with utmost attention, making sure the grapes are perfectly healthy, with a certain delicacy throughout the process. This is the recipe for a fine wine made by a fine producer! This domain has organic certification.
This is a very elegant cuvée that has a lovely purity and a particular finesse.

About the Producer Thibault Liger-Belair

The estate was founded in 2001, when the family’s five hectares of vines – previously leased out under sharecropping agreements – were brought back under direct management. Since the 18th century, the Burgundian family had overseen the C. Marey and Comte Liger-Belair wine-trading houses. Today, the vineyard extends over eight hectares across some of Burgundy’s most renowned appellations, including Richebourg, Vosne-Romanée, Clos de Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Gevrey-Chambertin.
In 2004, Thibault established a wine-trading business, Thibault Liger-Belair Successeurs, through which he purchases grapes and farms a further 12 hectares of vines. In 2008, the winemaker expanded into Beaujolais – a region he discovered during his studies – settling in Moulin-à-Vent and creating Domaine des Pierres Roses.
Across these various ventures, the guiding philosophy remains the same: a pursuit of finesse and a constant effort to understand what each vine requires. The wines have already reached an impressive level and are widely regarded as among the region’s rising stars, combining substance with elegance.
