About the Producer Marcarini

The Marcarini family has been lovingly nurturing its vines for six generations in the heart of the charming Italian village of La Morra. The vineyard, now run by Manuel, Andrea Marchetti and Elisa Marchetti, extends over 20 hectares of vines, where the region’s signature varieties such as Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Arneis and Moscato Bianco thrive. The family estate’s iconic cellar is housed in a tower dating back to the 13th century, While the winery, as well as the fermentation and bottling equipment, also benefit from an ideal location in the cellars of a 19th-century monastery. Sensible choices are made in the vineyards to ensure sustainable, environmentally friendly viticulture. The result is a range of outstanding cuvées brilliantly reflecting the diversity of the region’s terroir, particularly sought-after by the finest connoisseurs of Italian wines. The estate exports 85% of its highly sought-after wines around the world.
