The wine
Planted on gravelly, sandy soil, this vineyard produces a spicy, seductive, imposing wine. Tannic and full-bodied, it is also well-balanced with a somewhat rustic character.
The Château La Croix Saint Georges is surrounded by prestigious neighbours: Petit-Village, Le Pin and Vieux-Château Certan. The prices have remained much more reasonable for this vintage which deserves the attention of the amateurs.
