The wine

Completely legendary, the Ramonet domain crafts a Chassagne-Montrachet that is sought across the globe. From a terroir rich in chalk and marl, this wine is distinguished by a fine minerality enrobed by notes of white fruits and honey. The palate expresses the maturity of the Chardonnay and a great aromatic complexity, all whilst being lifted by a certain freshness. A fine wine that will reward ageing for a while and will pair nicely with noble fish.

About the Producer Ramonet

Jean-Claude and Noël safeguard the 17-hectare property created bit by bit by their grandfather Pierre Ramonet in the 1920s, a Burgundian figure. Noël (in the cellar) and Jean-Claude (in the vineyard) took over the domain in 1984. They are the third generation and want to get the best out of the terroir. It is one of the most renowned domain of the appellation for both quality and finesse of its wines.
