The controlled extraction means that the wine has wonderful body whilst avoiding any heaviness. The palate is elegant and direct, laden with notes of ripe fruits. The tannins are wonderfully silky.
About the Producer Cullen
Cullen is not only a biodynamic domain, but their carbon footprint is actually zero. It is located in the south-west of Australia, not far from Willyabrup. The domain was created by doctors Cullen and Cullety in 1966. The vineyard is now made up of 28 hectares, with a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Vanya Cullen now runs the domain, producing wines of impressive quality.
