Lot presentation

Nuits Saint-Georges Les Fleurières Dominique Mugneret (Domaine) 2007

The wine

Fully exposed to the east at the foot of the slope, this terroir produces a ruby red wine with glints of brightness and intense, fruity aromas. On the palate, there is a burst of black fruits and the wine is remarkably ample. Its acidity and precise tannins are still quite marked but will become more enjoyable in two or three years, especially accompanying a dish of fragrant meat.

About the Producer Dominique Mugneret

Dominique Mugneret, in addition to his domaines, operates three of the largest terroirs on the Côte de Nuits: Les Saint Georges (premier cru in Nuits), and the grand crus Richebourg (in Vosne-Romanée) and Clos de Vougeot. He is a wine grower who produces wines of great distinction, which testify to the magnificent terroirs from which they are derived.
