Its exceptional terroir allows it to produce sophisticated wines with greater concentration than can be found anywhere else locally. On the nose, Dominic Laurent's Rugiens Pommard offers aromas of red berries, and sour cherries in particular, with spicy notes (pepper and cinnamon) and light smoky notes. Direct and slightly austere on the palate.
