What makes this wine special?
This Mercurey has aromas of wild fruit and a velvety texture. This wine works beautifully with grilled red meats.
More infoThis Mercurey comes from 30-year-old vines grown on brown, pebbly, clay-limestone soils. Manual harvests and fermentation in temperature-controlled conical oak vats precede an élevage of 14 to 16 months in oak barrels. This wine, with its animal, fruity aromas should be drunk young alongside grilled or roasted red meats.
Domaine Adélie - Albert Bichot
★ Partner ProducerDomaine Adélie was the final acquisition of Maison Albert Bichot; it is located in Mercurey and bears the name of Albéric Bichot's daughter who was born in 2003. The vineyard, composed of two plots, spans four hectares and includes a premier cru, Champ Martin. In the vineyards, work is sustainable, and carried out using organic fertilisers. In the wine cellar, vinifications are done separately for each plot, with minimal intervention.
