This parcel-based grand cru, produced from 0.2 hectares of Ambonnay terroir, provides a unique interpretation of Pinot Noir. The finely roasted notes on the nose, along with the dense, complex, vinous and deep palate, show this to be a masterful wine. An obvious wine for drinking with good food.
More infoThe Gonet-Medeville family are descendants of two great winemaking families; one from the Champagne region, and the other from Sauternes (Château Gilette). Each of their wines is stamped with the best of both these traditions. Great elegance characterises this Pinot Noir cuvée, produced from a 0.2-hectare parcel located in Ambonnay. The Gonet-Medeville family have produced an excellent wine from this great Pinot terroir, with roasted notes testifying to an in-depth yet well-integrated élevage, lending this Champagne genuine ageing potential.
About the Producer Gonet-Medeville
