The domain's true star, this unfiltered Chardonnay is one of the first unfiltered wines to be created and marketed in the United States. It has played a large part in the domain's success. Its intensity and complexity are attractive, as are its vanilla and spice notes. Its creamy texture enables it to form great pairings with salmon or poultry.
About the Producer Newton Vineyard
Newton Vineyard was established in 1977 and is one of the most prestigious in the Napa Valley. Its wines are vinified separately prior to blending. Each of the 112 parcels is planted with a specific grape variety including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The estate is keen to preserve its biodiversity. It was one of the first estates to produce an unfiltered wine. Its unfiltered Chardonnay has become a genuine star.
