Information
Trousseau has been grown for centuries in the vineyards of Poligny and the Doubs, and thrives perfectly in soils composed of clay and limestone. This grape variety is high-yielding, with compact berries that produce powerful, tannic wines. Once harvested by hand, the Trousseau grapes are carefully sorted on sorting tables. The whole grapes go through partial carbonic maceration and a cold pre-fermentation maceration. The vine is aged in thermoregulated stainless steel vats before being bottled after light filtration.
Its raspberry-red colour unveiling bright glints, promises an aromatic bouquet. The expressive nose is marked by plentiful aromas of red fruits with subtle smoky hints. The crisp and delicious palate reveals fine and round tannins pairing perfectly with the notes of spices, leading to a lightly mineral and deliciously long finish.
