About the wine
A Park cognac aged for four years in Limousin oak casks and finished for six months in Mizunara casks. The grapes were grown Les Borderies, a small cru (around 5% of the appellation) near Grande and Petite Champagnethat produces floral eaux de vie with notes of violet. Mizunara (Quercus mongolien var. crispula) is an expensive type of Japanese oak known for being difficult to work with (Mizunara casks are renowned for their tendency to leak), which nonetheless gives the whisky a special character, with notes of spices, precious wood and incense. A limited edition of 2,250 bottles.
