Information
This wine draws its unique character from the clay-limestone soils of Meursault, a terroir known for its capacity to produce white wines of great finesse. The vines are carefully grown to maximise the quality of the grapes and harvests are carried out by hand, allowing for rigorous selection of the grapes to only keep the best for vinification. The grapes are gently pressed to preserve their purity with fermentation taking place in oak barrels, with minimal use of new oak (around 10%), so as not to overpower the natural aromas of the Chardonnay. The wine is matured for around 12 months, during which time it develops its aromatic complexity and elegant structure. This process reveals all the minerality and aromatic richness of this Meursault.
This wine is distinguished by intense fruity aromas of white-fleshed fruits such as pear and apple, accompanied by floral notes and a striking minerality. On the palate, it is wonderfully fresh with a creamy texture and a long and saline finish, typical of great wines from Meursault.
